Members of the Board of Governors paid a courtesy visit to the Management of the NTA Channel 10 Tejuosho on the 30th June 2015. The team was led by the Chairman Board of Governors, Dr E.A.Akinocho. The Medical Director, Dr Mosunmade Faderin, in her address, stressed the need for NTA to partner with the Eye Bank on the advocacy campaign and public enlightenment on Cornea/Eye donation in Nigeria
The Treasurer of the Eye Bank, Very Rev (Dr) Yinka Omololu also talked on the significance of cornea donation in Nigeria.
In response, The General Manager, Ms Daramola thanked the Members of the Eye Bank for the wonderful presentation and on behalf of the station, she pledged their support towards the ongoing campaign by covering all the future activities of the Eye Bank.
On behalf of the Eye Bank, Dr. E.A. Akinocho , expressed his profound gratitude to the General Manager and all the management team for the warm reception and their commitment to partner with the Bank. He concluded his speech saying “what is more gratifying after death than leaving a legacy behind i.e. giving a gift of sight”.
